The Place at Pepper Hill and Functional Pathways work together to provide an interdisciplinary approach to the management of common age-related illnesses and prevention of hospital readmissions, by providing exceptional Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy to improve physical function and independence. Functional Pathways' clinical excellence and quality patient centered care is individualized to restore independence, strength, and mobility for an ongoing positive quality of life.

Our occupational therapists treat patients who are injured, ill or disabled through the therapeutic use of
everyday activities. OTs help patients develop, recover and improve the skills needed for daily living
and working through compensatory and adaptive strategies to achieve the patients' highest level of independence.

Our physical therapists provide services that help restore function, improve mobility,
and relieve pain in patients with physical disabilities, injury, or disease. Pts utilize clinical programs including strength
and balance training, fall prevention, and ambulation training to restore, maintain, and promote overall fitness and health.

Our speech and language pathologists treat patients with communication problems, memory loss, disorientation, cognitive deficits
and swallowing dysfunctions. SLPs utilize treatment plans that focus on oral muscle strength for speech, safe eating and
drinking, as well as areas affecting swallowing and cognition.
