Our Roles
The Role of an occupational therapist
Our occupational therapists treat patients who are injured, ill or disabled through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. OTs help patients develop, recover and improve the skills needed for daily living and working through compensatory and adaptive strategies to achieve the patients' highest level of independence.
The Role of a physical therapist
Our physical therapists provide services that help restore function, improve mobility, and relieve pain in patients with physical disabilities, injury, or disease. Pts utilize clinical programs including strength and balance training, fall prevention, and ambulation training to restore, maintain, and promote overall fitness and health.
The Role of a speech therapist
Our speech and language pathologists treat patients with communication problems, memory loss, disorientation, cognitive deficits and swallowing dysfunctions. SLPs utilize treatment plans that focus on oral muscle strength for speech, safe eating and drinking, as well as areas affecting swallowing and cognition.
